About the Role
We are drastically improving our customer experience and is looking for a PHP Developer to build scalable, resilient and robust applications for their enterprise clients. The candidate will have keen interest in creating scalable applications and experiences using modern development frameworks, keeping security in the forefront. Back-end Engineers will work closely with product and engineering teams, using agile project management methodologies.
The ideal candidate must have strong computer science fundamentals, and will have experience working closely with the back-end teams to accomplish their tasks. Must be a team player with excellent communication skills.
Description:
· Develop and maintain back-end applications.
· Collaborate closely with front-end and full-stack developers to meet the requirements and timelines
· Practice test driven development (TDD) and automate testing.
· Participate in critical technical design, and product discussions with leaders across our engineering, product and operations teams.
· Proficient understanding of designing large-scale applications based on RDBMS (Mysql) along with strong SQL skills. In addition, necessary to have integration experience.
· Work with traditional software development lifecycle methodologies as well as newer agile-based approaches to design, code, peer review, and troubleshoot services.
Qualification:
· 3+ years of software development experience in modern back-end technologies and frameworks
· Knowledge of technologies such as, PHP, JS, RDBMS, NOSQL, etc.
· Solid technical foundation with relevant experience in SDLC, development best practices, and DevOps processes.
· Practitioner of Test Driven Development (TDD)
· Strong understanding of Enterprise applications and building for scale.
· Well versed in agile-based approaches to design, code, peer review and troubleshoot services.
· Experience understanding how to build products that serve B2B Mid-Market and Enterprise segments.
· Strong communication skills.
· Preferred experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
· Entrepreneurial self-starter
· Can work with Fast-paced Industries.
Desired:
· end-to-end development experience in Angular, React or Vue.
· Experience with building back-end applications transitioning from monolithic to microservices based cloud native applications
· Experience building applications for startups.
